In over 80 professional productions spanning a 25-year career, Jack has performed with New Swan Shakespeare Festival, Utah Shakespeare Festival, Seattle Shakespeare Company, PCPA Theaterfest, GEVA Theater Center, South Coast Repertory Theatre, Shakespeare Santa Cruz, Colorado Shakespeare Festival, Insight Out Theatre Collective, Strawberry Theatre Workshop, CenterPoint Theatre Group, Stage West in Fort Worth and at St. Mark’s Cathedral, Seattle. Jack holds an MFA in Acting from the University of California Irvine.
Jack is a certified Associate Teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework. He has served as the voice/dialect/text coach for numerous nationally recognized regional theaters including the Denver Center Theatre Company, Utah Shakespeare Festival, Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park and the Round House Theatre in Bethesda, Maryland.
Jack is also a sought-after trainer and conference presenter. He has partnered multiple times with voice luminary Catherine Fitzmaurice to train teachers of voice as well as voice students from all over the world. He has presented workshops at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona, the Freedom and Focus International Conference in Vancouver, British Columbia and the Fitzmaurice Voicework Symposium in New York.
Jack most recently served as Head of Acting for the Division of Theatre at Southern Methodist University and taught voice and speech in the Division’s B.F.A. and M.F.A. programs. His 27-year career as an educator includes serving on the faculties of SMU, Cornish College of the Arts, Freehold Studio in Seattle, WA, and Pacific Conservatory Theatre in Santa Maria, CA.
