Guest Artist - Institut del Teatre, "La Pell - The Skin"

In April of 2012, I traveled to Barcelona at the invitation of my colleague, Prof. Anna Estrada. My duties included voice/text coaching for her theatre company, “La Pell - The Skin,” and presenting a conference at the Institut del Teatre on the organization and practice of theatre voice training in the United States. The regional government of Barcelona created the Institut del Teatre in 1913, known originally as The Catalan School of Dramatic Arts. It is dedicated to the teaching, research, documentation and dissemination of the performing arts. Throughout its lengthy existence the Theatre School has been a reference point for the teaching, documentation and research of the performing arts in Europe. (Photos - Jack and Betsy Greenman)
